Finance for Executives presents the main elements of modern finance from the manager’s viewpoint. In 1994, he received the prestigious McKinsey Award for Excellence in Teaching. Complete biography | | Kevin F. Rock | Kevin Rock joined the faculty of the University of Chicago Booth School of Business in 2004. Prior to his appointment, he taught courses in corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions at MIT’s Sloan School of Management where he was named Teacher of the Year in 2003, 2000, and 1996. Kaplan is the Neubauer Family Distinguished Service Professor of Entrepreneurship and Finance at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He is the Faculty Director of Chicago Booth’s Polsky Entrepreneurship Center. Professor Kaplan has been a member of the faculty since 1988. He earned his Ph.D. in Business Economics from Harvard University and received his A.B., summa cum laude , in Applied Mathematics and Economics from Harvard College.
