Leadership is something most businesses strive to achieve in their industries. Leadership operates at many levels, including country, industry, business, product, and personal levels. You will explore the knowledge, skill, and discipline that build your leadership capital; you will determine the direction of your leadership journey; and you will learn to tell compelling stories that allow people to follow the direction you have set.

Professor Ginzel's and Wortmann's methods of experiential learning literally transform the way people view the business world and leadership in a matter of hours. Their vast knowledge, learned from a balance of academic study and real world experience, is taught in an interesting and fun way, and conveys deep and lasting lessons of social psychology, motivation, and implementation. The tools they teach provide a framework that becomes a new filter by which to see the world - things that can be implemented starting immediately, but that will also change the way you look at leadership every day going forward.
- Alice Gallen, Manager of System Integration and Technology, Accenture

Professor Wortmann does a great job of teaching the grass roots stuff at the core of effectiveness and success and making students use the language of everyday life. That is valuable because it makes all of us feel like we can be successful."
- Mary T. Chandler, Director of Policy and Planning - Corporate Responsibility, Cummins Inc.

Dr. Caruso is an engaging, personable instructor who helped me create a personal plan to increase my relational power and leverage. Thanks to this course, I have been able to grow my sphere of influence and be more cognizant of the strategies I can use to increase personal power.
